RETRACTABLE SEATING PLATFORM SYSTEM
Retractable seating (also known as telescopic seating) is a system in which audience seating can be retracted and stored in a wall, or below a stage. These systems allow for multi-purpose use of space in a way that wasn’t possible with fixed audience seating. The Telescopic Seating System is designed to maximize the reception of visitors in a limited space. Some systems allow all the seating to be moved or removed, meaning the venue can be completely customized for each event. From professional theatres to sports venues, the optimum viewing environment for the type and scale of events can be created.
The Retractable Seating System is available in three options based on the Operation Method:
Automatic Method
The Chairs are ganged in three or more positions (up to 12) where the seats can be raised from it’s closed position (folded down) to the open position and operated by a motorized drive unit located under the seat which is completely covered by folded steel plate. All seat operations whether opening and closing can be done just by pushing a button located on the pendant switch control or via wireless remote control
Semi-Automatic Method
Electric pulling unit – functions just like a manual method but uses a motorized pulling unit to extend or retract the telescopic platform. The electric pulling unit also serves a dual purpose which allows for our MOBILE system to be transported from its stored location (from indoor) to another location (outdoor).
After chairs are lifted manually in its upright position, during retraction; the seats will be folded down automatically from its opened position to the closed position thus minimizing the need for additional manpower/manhours to manually fold down the seats prior to retraction.
